I am so happy that my pin up collages are doing well on Etsy! People can't seem to get enough of these retro babes and bombshells! In a time of instant gratification, these demure, modest pictures still have a sexy way of their own all the while still leaving much to the imagination! I love that aspect of the times back then, it wasn't about "baring all" it was giving that perfect dose of sexiness and class but always leaving you wanting more!

I just got done watching The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo. I always wanted to know the woman behind the mysterious self portraits. I am so glad I saw it. I was able to learn so much about her life and pain which is portrayed in her paintings. Her story definitly inspired me. I have always been drawn to strong artistic women, and she is just one more that I now deeply admire. Viva La Vida Frida.
My birthday is coming up .. I can't believe I will be 24! Time has gone by so fast after high school. For this year I am asking for The Sims 3 Late Night! I have been a Sims freak ever since the first game came out. I love video games and PC games, and when I need a break from Dead Space, Final Fantasy, and Call of Duty etc. The Sims is always there to throw me into it's world of hilarity, innocence, and joy. SO I am excited to see what The Sims 3 Late Night has to offer! And if I don't get it for my birthday, I will just have to wait for Christmas! ^_^ ( I realize I sound like a 12 year old boy, but it cannot be helped)

I got my washi ningyo kit yesterday!! I started it at 8pm and finished at around 11:30 pm! I had no idea the time had went by so fast, I had alot of fun making it, although at times it was a bit challenging. It is addictive though! I already want to make another one! I am so proud of my little washi ningyo! I formed her arms into a reaching stance as if she is about to give me a big hug for creating her and bringing her to life! ^_^ I really can't say enough about how much I loved this kit!

I can't wait for the mail to come!! I ordered a Japanese Washi Ningyo (Japanese Paper Doll) kit! Washi is the type of paper used in making the doll and ningyo means "human figure" in Japanese. I am really excited to embark on my next artistic adventure! I sort of stumbled upon these gorgeous paper dolls while searching for antique geisha dolls. The kit comes with everything you need to make one doll and an instructional DVD. I am so excited!!
